Ghazal for My Sister: Day 8

Her boyfriend better love her real good
He better play things right and know good

Babies grin gummily and flowers grow toward her
Wild vicious mutts purr and heel so good

Strong stem sunflowers sprout where she walks
Bursting through concrete cracks they grow good

She sings soprano words of folksy remedy
That'll warm a heart frozen with snow good

Anybody who gets to be her lucky love
Better do right by her, better go good

When she picks up my call she says hey baby
Her sweet croon-voice makes even hello good

Prompt: "Now try writing your own ghazal that takes the form of a love song – however you want to define that. Observe the conventions of the repeated word, including your own name (or a reference to yourself) and having the stanzas present independent thoughts along a single theme – a meditation, not a story."
